Hi beauties!
It's been a while since my last blog post. A little over a week to be precise, but anywho, what matters is I'm blogging now! It feels so good to be back! It's terrible how some days I just don't have the time to produce a post for you all. It really saddens me cause I absolutely love and enjoy blogging and just sharing my thoughts but damn school for getting in the way, grrrrr! I've completed my second-to-last assessment draft, since the other one isn't due till after next week, but I thought I'd get started on that one soon, but not until I queued some posts and kind of had a little bit of 'me' time. I've terribly missed blogging and 'me' time! What with being a teen mom, a girlfriend, a daughter and a student, ugh, it's exhausting!!!!
This is basically my outfit post from last Thursday when my boyfriend decided to whisk me away for a night (with our little bubba, who isn't much of a little bubba anymore considering he's turning 3 in less than two week, of course) and took me out to Westfield Parramatta during late night shopping hours and took me to dinner and shopping! I had an incredible time and hated that it ended so soon. I love having a boyfriend with his license!
So essentially, I spree'd until my feet killed, and the stores were closing. I was actually quite devastated about... Hang on, this is an outfit post, not a 'let's-talk-about-D's-shopping-trip-last-Thursday'.
The dress was actually my first OOTD featured blog post using my new tripod. I didn't even realize that I'd featured it before until I saw it in my 'Blog Photos' folder on my laptop. I read in Lauren Conrad Style that when you're going shopping, it's easier to wear a dress to slip out of when trying on clothes. It saves time, stressing about zippers on jeans, and pulling off tops, and it's so true! I take forever in change rooms because of all that fuss, so I decided to go for a basic and comfortable ensemble. Considering I was working up a sweat while shopping, I took my jacket off, and put it in my bag. It was a whole lot easier to try on clothes when I could just slip out of my dress.
I didn't actually have one of those 'what am I gonna wear tonight?' and plan out an entire outfit moments. I kind of just picked this, and this, and this and voila! A not too shabby outfit was created. I'm very pleased with it, too!

I think I've rambled on enough. I promise you, a May shopping post is coming up tomorrow or soon!
Enjoy!

OOTD: Fashion Week Uniform

Top: Customised Hanes Tee (from volunteering)
Pants: Mink
Shoes: Rubi Shoes
Blazer: Thrift Store
Necklace: Gift
Watch: Boyfriend's
Earrings: Diva

Hey beauties!
I'm sorry this post took so long for me to post up. I spent all day shooting, then editing, then trying to decide which photos should be featured. It was so hard cutting down cause I loved the way my outfit looked in all of the photos, so that's why there's such a burst of photos of the same outfit, sorry! Unfortunately, I didn't actually wear the heels to my volunteer job because we're not allowed, but they looked better with my outfit than my brown brogues did so there you have it. Everything else I definitely wore to my shift (singular noun because this is my favourite fashion week uniform outfit, the rest were a little lame hehe).
Anyway, I volunteered at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia last week, and had the absolute best time ever! I didn't receive a lot of freebies, but I honestly don't even care. The experience alone was an amazing gift already. I definitely want to do it again next year, then hopefully become an invited blogger guest the following year. I saw so many stylish people, including celebrities and bloggers (such as Rumi Neely, Bryanboy [who, btw, talked & touched me!], Candace Lake, Lara Bingle, Jay Lyons [Whitney Port's ex], Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper Vintage, etc.), oh, and even some fashion magazine editors! I think I was more thrilled and star struck over seeing fashion magazine editors than actual celebrities, bloggers or designers!
The one collection that stood out for me the best was Sara Phillips. She's such a cute and pretty lady, and her collection was absolutely fabulous! I definitely would wear every single thing from that collection (if only it suited me/was affordable for me).
Ugh, I hate that it's over. I had such a good time and met so many amazing fashion-loving girls! It's unbelievable how nice majority of these girls were! You'd think they'd be all bitchy and catty, but absolutely not!
It's an experience and a memory I'll keep forever.

Well, it's my 19th birthday tomorrow (in an hour and a half, actually!) and I'm pretty thrilled. I love birthdays, especially my own!
I hope you all enjoy this outfit post!

Birthday (Fantasy) Wishlist

Hello beauties!
Oh, hey, what's this? Suddenly two blog posts in one day! Wow! Haha!!!
My nineteenth birthday is coming up on Monday (the 7th of May), and I'm so excited! It's the one year where I can actually point out what I want. Clearly the electronics are way out of anyone's pay, so I absolutely don't expect to be receiving them, but it's okay to dream and wish, right?
I could probably list a bunch of things I want, but that would be way too long (and I can't find photos online of them), so I think the safe gifts to give someone like me would be a bunch of these gift cards or cash. I'm a big shopper (at the same time, I've managed to save $400 for America so far), and I think it's best for me to buy my own things rather than have people do that. Since I know what I like and so their thoughtfulness wouldn't go to any waste. Although, I still looove receiving bought gifts. I think it's very very sweet, and I am forever grateful!
Well, basically, here's just a little polyvore collage of my birthday wishlist, hehe X
