Prepare yourselves for vomit-filled couple photos where you see 10 shots of us just blatantly making out - just kidding! No, you won't see any of that, but I am very excited to introduce another brand spankin' new feature on Heart, Style & Grace called His & Hers. This feature will include various photographs of mine and my man's outfits, once a month. Unlike other blogger boyfriends, my guy absolutely hates getting his picture taken, but he's chosen to co-operate and do this series with me purely out of love (and because he couldn't resist my puppy dog eyes.)

Relationships are hard work. It takes more than materialistic gifts and text messages at 2am in the morning to make a relationship last. It takes perseverance, understanding, patience and love. I know for a fact that Henry and I would never be where we are today if we didn't work for our relationship. We chose to never give up, and always directed our relationship to nothing but happiness. There were plenty of fights and a rives' worth of tears, but those moments shaped us and assisted in our growth as a couple.

So without further ado, we hope you enjoy this new feature, and we're excited to bring you more!
*And because this is a new feature and we had so much fun shooting, I've included two exclusive outtake shots where we were just dancing for no apparent reason*

A Few of My Favourite Things: July

Prepare yourselves for my favourite buy, my favourite do, my favourite eat, my favourite read, and my favourite wear of July.

*BUY*
I have wanted an iPad since the day my boyfriend got his two years ago. The thing is, I wanted one but never saw the point of it. I preferred writing in a notebook over typing away on a keyboard during my classes at fashion college. But now that time has passed and I'm on my way to building my dream career, it just fits and seems necessary. Ever since I got it, I've found so many useful ways for its use.
You can find the iPad Air right here.

*DO*
Some things never change, and for me, it's that I will always love my girly childhood. Ballerina colouring books, princess stuffed dolls and Disney movies sum up my childhood in a nutshell. Even though I'm no longer a child (nor a teen), I still love a pretty colouring book for when I'm feeling nostalgic and want to revisit my childhood, even for a moment. July was a busy month and I found myself watching Disney movies whenever I could relax with my ballerina colouring book in my lap and coloured pens by my side. So do yourself a favour, go to Target or K-Mart and buy yourself a princess colouring book. Trust me, you'll feel so much better.

*EAT*
If you know me well enough, you would know that red velvet desserts are my go-to sweets. I love a bright red, moist and delicious cupcake. Whether a red velvet cupcake is made at home with love or at a bakery with passion, it's still got that delightful light and fluffy cloud feeling in your mouth when you bite into it.
You can find red velvet cupcakes here.

*READ*
Most of July was spent watching YouTube beauty videos, hence my read of the month: Lauren Conrad Beauty. What's better than Lauren Conrad teaching you her secrets to beauty? This book has literally been my beauty bible since the day I laid my hands on it. Sure, I could spend majority of my time watching videos on how to do particular beauty looks but there's some simple pleasure I find in reading tutorials whilst glancing over at pictures.
You can find this book right here.

*WEAR*
If you take a look into my closet, you would assume that I am a handbag hoarder. I have a handbag for everyday of the month, and some. But Michael Kors was so good to me during July, I had to give this bag a shout-out. Thanks for putting up with my man-handling all over you; thanks for carrying all of my heavy and abnormal belongings; thanks for looking so damn pretty among all of my outfits.
You can find Michael Kors bags here.

Mummy & Son

Mummy wears: Navy & white stripe oversized tee by Sportsgirl; Sky blue boyfriend jeans by ICE Fashion; Leopard print flats by unknown; Beige anorak by Paper Scissors; Black fedora hat by Paper Scissors; Gold watch by Michael Kors; Love bracelet by Cartier
Son wears: Grey & red stripe knit sweater by Cotton On Kids; Black cargo tracksuit pants by Pumpkin Patch Kids; Black casual shoes by Vans; Navy & mustard pom-pom knit beanie by Cotton On Kids

Kicking off this month of August, I am extremely excited to launch a new monthly feature called Mummy & Son which will feature various outfits between my son and I. A lot of you have asked for more posts and videos of him, so I thought I'd start it off with a couple of posts of him and I in the next few months and see how that goes. Obviously I'm a mum who's concerned about exposing my child to the likes of the internet, but I trust you guys and I know you're all just curious on how I dress him everyday. It's also a sort of post where you can kind of get to see what we get up to sometimes - like a day in the life, only in a series of photos which have absolutely nothing to do with the day in our life but more so about me frantically asking my boyfriend to shoot us for my blog BUT ANYWAY - let's get started.

There is no bond stronger than the love between a mother and her children. As for me, I only have one baby whom I love ever so dearly, but it doesn't make our bond any less. In fact, having only him right now is making our relationship stronger, but don't worry guys, he is currently asking for a baby sibling and hopefully some day, when Henry and I are stable enough and can handle going through that all over again, we can finally give him a playmate. As for now though, he's our one true love, and for that, I hope you enjoy this series.

Let me know if you like this!
